Lonicera x purpusii ‘Winter Beauty’

Description:

This shrub has unparalleled fragrance produced in the depths of winter from sweet little cream flowers on bare stems. It is a joy to have near to a path or front garden to give out a delightful sweet scent on winter days and is a welcome source of nectar for insects. The rest of the year it is quite undistinguished with a spreading shape and mid green leaves. It generally looks better without any pruning and needs a sunny spot for best flowering with plenty of room or if preferred to save space, it responds well to being wall trained.
