Fatsia japonica

Description:

This plant has a tropical feel due to the large leathery palm shaped foliage held on branched stems. It produces stubby architectural flower spikes baring white pompom like, small white flowers similar to Ivy followed by small black fruits. It is considered hardy but must be planted in a sheltered spot in shade to avoid the leaves crisping up and going brown. Great for tropical schemes and shady planting areas focused on foliage and texture.
