Description:

This species of Rowan tree also known as Mountain Ash, is native to the UK and Europe. It is extremely robust and can survive in a wide range of soil types and exposed areas. It supports a large variety of wildlife with pollen and nectar rich white flowers in spring and large crops of bright red berries. It grows as a naturally upright tree and is often a multistem form. The foliage turns yellow in autumn, before falling to leave clusters of red berries which last well into winter or until the birds have eaten them. A great specimen tree, in either multi or single stem forms and the perfect choice for naturalistic or wildlife friendly gardens.
