Brunnera macrophylla ‘Jack Frost’

Description:

This ground covering perennial has so much going for it and is one of our go-to plants for woodland style and shady planting. Sprays of dainty, blue, forget-me-not flowers appear in spring, along with large, silvery veined heart shaped leaves. It hugs the ground and looks fabulous under shrubs, trees , planted amongst ferns and Japanese Anemones and is a great alternative to Hosta's if you have slugs. It is the perfect plant to add colour and interest to dry shady spots.

Aftercare: Cut off any foliage that reverts to pure green to the base, along with any brown leaves as they appear. Divide clumps ever 3-4 years in late autumn to maintain vigour and mulch with well rotted organic matter or leaf mould in autumn or spring every year.
