This pretty mat forming, semi evergreen perennial produces froths of dainty pink and white, daisy like flowers from spring well into autumn. It has many versatile uses such as gravel gardens, planting pockets in paving, coastal schemes. It does come with a caveat, that it loves to seed around. This can be seen as part of it's charm, or a nuisance depending on individual taste. Preferring to grow in cracks and cervices along walls or in paths, it is perfect for softening edges and creating a relaxed, laissez faire look. We find it will grow well in a planting border providing there is excellent year round drainage as it dislikes winter wet. It is relatively drought tolerant once established but seems to grow very well were there is an occasional supply of run off water such as around a tap or drainpipe. It prefers full sun but will also grow in partial shade and is loved by pollinators, particularly hoverflies.
Aftercare: Manage self seeding by removing unwanted seedlings as they germinate. Cut back to green growth at the base when the plant starts to look straggly.
