Lonicera nitida 'Maigrun'

Description:
This shrub can often be overlooked as an amenity plant however, when maintained in a specific way, it can be stunning. It has a naturally spreading, quite straggly habit which can be left to densely cover banks or slopes with an evergreen mat of foliage. Alternatiely, closely clipping the stems over time and shaping can create undulating, vivid evergreen mounds which add a stylish and sculptural aire to a planting scheme. This plant is perfect for those hard to plant areas along driveways or under the dry shade of mature trees where low maintenance but loose formality is required. Great for low hedging, topiary, evergreen mass planting and ground cover in dry shade areas.
