Sarcococca hookeriana var. humilis

Description:
This bushy evergreen shrub is a compact variety which grows up to 60c tall. It has glossy, deep green leaves which is useful for dry, deeply shaded areas. However, the profusion of tiny sweetly scented, creamy-white flowers in the depths of winter, followed by glossy black berries is the main reason to grow it. Sarcococca can be slow to get going, but it is tough once established. Perfect for woodland planting or planted next to an entrance or path where it is sure to stop you in your tracks when in flower!
