The paving we are recommending for this area of your project is
20mm Grey Wood Effect Porcelain Paving
Price Band:
Colour: Forest Grey Larch
Permeable?
This is not a permeable solution and therefore requires linear slot drainage unless the area is very small eg a platform, in which case it can be drained into a border, however we'd always recommend draining into a linear drain
Our most popular wood effect tile for contemporary gardens. This ‘grey/brown’ tile has a warm and bright appearance. The paving is relatively smooth to the touch and contains a few colour variations to give the product a wood effect look. Perfect for level threshold schemes and bare feet! Ideal for stone and brick built buildings due to its warm grey tones. Works well with anthracite grey windows, yet because it’s not in the ‘blue grey’ scale, it doesn’t appear too cold like some greys can.
Fall as indicated on plan. Slabs to be supplied and laid as per paving plan (if supplied) on a FULL BED of 50mm thick mortar and the backs of the slabs MUST be primed with a premixed slurry primer such as Ultrascape ProPrime (see link for manufacturer’s advice and safety information). Paving to be laid over 100mm compacted MOT Type 1. Pointed with Charcoal or Neutral Grey Flowpoint Fine: Rapid set flowable grout (see link for manufacturer’s advice and safety information)
If haze is evident on the paving once laid, this can be removed with a haze remover (always read manufacturer’s advice and safety guidance before use).
We’d recommend sealing the porcelain (this will be an optional extra detailed in your quotation) with this to make them easier to clean in the future.
