Step three in your garden transformation | Your Designer Visit
Confirmation of your Design Brief
During the meeting with Lee he’ll take a brief. Along with this, now is the time to share any images you have collected as well as your wants and needs.
Concept Discussions
Now for (what we think is) the fun bit!
During Lee’s visit, he’ll begin some rough sketching, ideas exploration and note taking on to a copy of the survey/site analysis. This is your chance to shape the design. He’ll discuss possible layouts, the placement of outbuildings and objects and address any concerns you may have, with creative design solutions.
This is also the point at which he’ll select materials for the garden and talk about the types of plants you like.
From here he will leave with:
- A confirmed brief
- A clear understanding of what you want
- Your likes and dislikes
- A rough sketch of the proposed garden design
When back at the studio, Lee & his design team will create the Garden SmartPlan and send a digital copy for comment. We’ll follow this up with a 30 minute online video call to present and review the plans, noting any design developments you’d like to make. We’ll then send a digital copy, plus two printed A1 copies through the post (one for you and one for the garden builder). We’ll also send over a suggested planting and lighting palette and ground map, the perfect reference guide when setting out the garden ready to build.
