The Vision Book
Once the film has been agreed, we’ll translate it into The Vision Book | a clear design intent and architect’s brief. The Vision Book captures the thinking, feeling and purpose behind the vision so that it is not lost when the technical work begins.
It will typically include your Life Brief, the principal spatial ideas, a Concept Intent Plan, the intended relationships between house and garden, visual references from the film, the design principles that should guide future decisions and the questions that architects or other consultants will need to resolve. We can then brief your appointed architect and review their first concept interpretation to help ensure that the original vision remains intact.

The detail remains the same, but the capture, vision development and Vision Book are expanded to reflect the scale and complexity of the property.
PLEASE NOTE: Properties involving extensive grounds, several buildings, listed structures or particularly complex requirements will be considered individually. We will confirm the appropriate level, scope and fee following our initial online conversation.
Payment terms:
100% of the total is payable on instruction. Your project will then be scheduled with our design team and we’ll send you regular updates to let you know how your Vision Book is progressing.
