Step three | Your Designer Visit
We’re all ears | Confirmation of your Design Brief
During the meeting with your designer we’ll initially do a lot of listening and make notes so we can take a planting and styling design brief. This is a great opportunity to share any images you have collected it’s your chance to share your wants and needs.
Initial Thoughts & Conceptual Discussions
Now for (what we think is) the fun bit!
During your designer’s visit, we’ll begin by talking through our initial ideas, sharing thoughts and improvements we could make to the space. This is your chance to shape the planting & styling design and for us to gauge what you like and don’t like. We’ll discuss possible furniture layouts, suggest planter locations, visual enhancements, additional lighting and also talk through your favourite plants and colour preferences.
From here your designer will leave with:
- A confirmed brief
- A clear understanding of what you want
- Your likes and dislikes
- A rough list of plants and initial thoughts
When back at the studio, your designer will create a Planting Mood Board and draft General Arrangement plan, illustrating the proposed location of new planters and furniture as well as any new planting areas. We’ll send you a digital copy for comment, followed by a a 30 minute online video call to review the plans, noting any design developments you’d like to make. After we’ve made the agreed developments, we’ll send the final digital copies of the General Arrangement and the Planting Schematic (including lighting plan if required) in addition to one printed A1 copy along with a quotation for supplying and installing the suggested enhancements.
