This south modern terraced garden was constructed along side the new house. The sloping nature of the site meant that terracing areas of the garden would be important to create level functional spaces. The stone for the retaining walls was quarried from the site to help the garden blend into the natural landscape. Herbaceous planting provides season long interest flowering from May into late October. At the top of the garden there are two mild steel water bowls set into Buxus squares that provide beautiful reflections from within the garden.
