Confirmation of your Design Brief & Concept Discussions

During Lee’s site visit, he’ll take a brief.  Along with these notes and any images you have collected it’s your chance to share your wants and needs, problems and frustrations.

Now for (what we think is) the fun bit!

Whilst Lee is on site, he’ll explore initial ideas and this is your chance to shape the design. We’ll discuss possible garden layouts, the placement of outbuildings and objects and address any concerns you may have with creative design solutions.

This is also the point at which we’ll suggest materials for the garden and talk about the types of plants you like.

From here your designer will leave with:

  • A confirmed brief
  • A clear understanding of what you want
  • Your likes and dislikes
  • A rough idea of the layout of the proposed garden design

When back at the studio, Lee will work with his design team and using the information he collected on his visit to develop the concept for your scheme, resulting in the production of a short film illustrating how your garden could look when mature.  This will be shared with you digitally for you to watch again and again.

After you’ve reviewed the video, you’ll have a 30 minute online meeting with Lee to discuss the project and his rational behind the concept.  If you’d like to make any design developments, these will be agreed within the online meeting, as we’ve included an allowance for one round of amends.

What if I want to make more changes to the concept scheme?

To be able to supply this service at a fixed price, any further changes requested to the concept video will be charged for on an hourly basis of £120 per hour inc VAT and any additional trips to site will also be chargeable.

Payment Schedule:

We will invoice a 50% deposit to confirm the survey and the final 50% invoice will be due one week prior to the designer’s visit.  Any upgrades are payable in full on instruction.

Once you’re ready to move on you can upgrade to our Garden Smart Plan Package for £2599 for a builder ready set of plans that include lighting locations and planting suggestions.
