The addition of an industrial strength glass link between two beautiful old coaching houses, has created one fabulously well proportioned weekend retreat. With views onto the rear courtyard from the moment you enter the front door, the link with the outdoors further adds to the wonderful charm of this urban hideaway.

This urban courtyard garden is planted with a muted palate of green and punctuated in spring with bright white flowers, this tiny courtyard provides its owners with everything they could need from a relaxing weekend garden.  Low maintenance and fabulously well lit at night, the outdoor kitchen and dining areas provide a beautiful place to entertain guests and regular parties are enjoyed in this open plan space.

Accessed via three sets of folding doors, both music and guests spill out from the central atrium into the outside space.  When the evening turns chilly, under table heaters are turned on and so is the gas fired fire pit, adding not only dramatic flame, but a visual dynamic element to the otherwise static space.

(This project was a part renovation, and the stone walls and water feature were already on site).
